Some adages have stood the test of time – and for good reason!

When it comes to securing your mortgage and being ready when it’s time to close, these adages go a long way:

Honesty is the best policy.

Do not, NOT  tell me you have a home to sell.  You would be surprised that this does happen.

Don’t put off until tomorrow what Needs to be done today.

Do not delay paperwork because you are irritated by the frequency, number of requests and possible duplication requests from your mortgage lender.  It could cause unwanted delays later in the process.

If it sounds too good to be true, it probably is.

Do not find a mortgage lender on the internet that offers a 0.01% interest rate and or is outside the area.  Most too good to be trues are too good to be true.

I’ve lived in Bucks County since 1979 and have been a REALTOR since 1995. I have earned the respect of friends and associates by maintaining a level of fairness and understanding of their needs. A big part of my process is the conversation. I believe a lot of agents have forgotten this. To sit down and really listen to what you are looking to accomplish and what your dreams and wishes are. I’ve always said it all begins with a conversation and it holds true for everything.
